Attending the First Profession of Vows of Sister Mary Pimpa in Bangkok
On 8 June 2022, I was honored to be introduced to all Good Shepherd Thailand Sisters who have gathered together on the occasion of celebration of the First Profession of Vows of Sister Mary Pimpa. Heartfelt congratulations to Sister Pimpa!
The Good Shepherd Sisters have over 60 years of experience in helping vulnerable women and children, protecting human rights and advocating for global justice.
The Good Shepherd Sisters Thailand is a Part Of An International Congregation Of Our Lady Of Charity Of The Good Shepherd - international congregation of religious women in the Roman Catholic Church, in 73 countries.
In Thailand, Good Shepherd Sisters operate 8 charity centers in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nong Khai, Cambodia and over 20 projects with a main focus on children protection, anti-human trafficking and empowerment of vulnerable communities and minorities.
It is a great pleasure to work with Good Shepherd Sisters and contribute not only to protection and empowerment of risk groups but also implement education programs and staff training courses to enhance quality of services provided in charity centers of Thailand.
