Attending the First Profession of Vows of Sister Mary Pimpa in Bangkok
On 8 June 2022, I was honored to be introduced to the Good Shepherd Sisters Thailand who gathered together on the occasion of the First Profession of Vows of Sister Mary Pimpa. Heartfelt congratulations to Sister Pimpa!
The Good Shepherd Sisters have more than 60 years of experience in supporting vulnerable women and children, protecting human rights, and advocating for global justice.
The Good Shepherd Sisters Thailand are part of the international Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, an international congregation of religious women in the Roman Catholic Church present in 73 countries.
In Thailand, the Good Shepherd Sisters operate 8 charity centers in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nong Khai, and Cambodia, along with more than 20 projects focused on child protection, anti human trafficking, and the empowerment of vulnerable communities and minorities.
It is a great pleasure to work with the Good Shepherd Sisters and contribute not only to the protection and empowerment of vulnerable groups, but also to the implementation of educational programs and staff training courses that enhance the quality of services provided in charity centers across Thailand.
