Thailand is known worldwide for its beautiful beaches and peaceful nature, but not many people are aware that Thailand is among the world’s largest plastic polluters. Despite active government initiatives aimed at addressing environmental issues, promoting recycling, and reducing plastic pollution, at Neya Global we believe that the lack of education and awareness among local communities — especially in less developed and low-income areas — remains one of the key obstacles to tackling plastic pollution in Thailand.
