About the Article
This article analyzes organizational learning as a foundation for sustainability and resilience in non-profit organizations, especially in low-resource and volatile contexts. Drawing on Argyris and Schön’s single- and double-loop learning, Senge’s Five Disciplines, and Nonaka and Takeuchi’s SECI Model, it bridges theory with case-based evidence from Uganda, Kenya, Peru, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and South Africa. The discussion highlights how shared vision, systems thinking, team learning, and personal mastery strengthen adaptability and innovation. Practical strategies—such as inquiry-driven practices, collaborative exchanges, and digital tools for knowledge management—are emphasized as ways to cultivate learning cultures in non-profits.
