Yet, the diversity of available platforms creates uncertainty for resource-constrained practitioners. This Teaching Paper provides a structured comparison of ten widely used tools—Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, Redshift, BigQuery, Tableau, Talend, Kafka, Flink, and D3.js.
