Abstract

This article examines the process of strategic goal-setting in non-profit organizations, focusing on the frameworks that guide it, the tensions that arise in practice, and applied insights from the field. It addresses the balance between mission-driven ambitions and operational realities, exploring methods for aligning stakeholder expectations with measurable, impactful outcomes. By integrating adaptive frameworks and participatory approaches, the paper offers practical tools for defining and achieving goals that are both realistic and transformative.
