About the Article
The achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) depends on organizations’ ability to design and deliver context-sensitive, sustainable projects. This article examines practical approaches to SDG implementation through planning frameworks (LogFrame, Theory of Change, Results-Based Management), capacity building, community engagement, and technology integration. Case studies from Barefoot College, Tostan, Digital Green, RWSN, and Slum Dwellers International highlight how participatory design, skills development, and low-cost technologies enable transformation in energy, health, education, and food security. The analysis emphasizes that combining structured frameworks with inclusive, adaptive practices allows organizations in low-resource contexts to overcome constraints, enhance accountability, and maximize their contribution to sustainable global progress.
