About the Article
This article examines how media and communication tools can be strategically applied to advance interfaith dialogue, reduce prejudice, and amplify constructive narratives of cooperation. It highlights the complementary roles of traditional outlets such as press releases, documentaries, and opinion pieces, alongside digital platforms including podcasts, webinars, and social media campaigns. Case studies such as the #MyJihad initiative, Interfaith Amigos, Faith Counts, and the Plural+ Youth Video Festival illustrate the power of storytelling and inclusive messaging in shaping public perception and fostering engagement. Special attention is given to crisis communication strategies that emphasize transparency, empathy, and coordination in moments of tension. By linking theory, practice, and ethical considerations, the article underscores how media can serve as a catalyst for intercultural understanding, sustainable peace, and long-term social cohesion.
