The landscape of non-profit accountability is evolving through technological, cultural, and normative innovation. Digital tools such as dashboards, integrated data systems, and blockchain enhance transparency and efficiency, while participatory and culturally grounded practices redefine accountability as empowerment and inclusion. This article synthesises emerging models that combine technological precision with relational trust and ethical governance. It highlights both opportunities and risks: digital divides, elite capture, and symbolic transparency threaten to reproduce inequalities unless innovations are implemented with critical awareness and contextual sensitivity. The future of accountability lies in hybrid frameworks that integrate efficiency with inclusivity, compliance with ethics, and global standards with local values—anchoring innovation in dialogue, equity, and trust.
