About the Article

The decisive phase of organizational resilience occurs when crisis management strategies are implemented. This article explores how non-profit organizations activate their crisis management plans during disruptive events, focusing on detection, initial assessment, activation of crisis management teams, establishment of command centers, communication with stakeholders, and collaboration with external agencies. Transparent, timely, and consistent communication is emphasized as a central element of effective response. Real-world examples—from natural disasters to cybersecurity breaches—illustrate how structured implementation safeguards operations, minimizes disruption, and preserves trust. The article argues that successful implementation requires not only technical preparedness but also organizational culture, stakeholder engagement, and decisive leadership.
