Environmental scanning enables non-profit organizations to detect emerging trends, assess external risks, and identify new opportunities that influence strategic decision-making. This paper explores both qualitative and quantitative scanning methods, offering practical guidance on integrating diverse data sources into actionable insights. By fostering a culture of environmental awareness and adaptive planning, non-profits can maintain strategic clarity even in complex and volatile contexts.
