Non-profit organizations increasingly rely on digital infrastructures but face acute cybersecurity vulnerabilities due to limited budgets and technical capacity. This article examines practical adoption of cybersecurity tools and technologies suited for NPOs, covering foundational measures such as antivirus software, VPNs, firewalls, password managers, and encryption utilities, as well as advanced solutions including SIEM, EDR, and Zero Trust frameworks. Free and open-source tools offer affordable resilience, while case studies demonstrate real-world applications in password management, remote VPN deployment, firewall adoption, and centralized monitoring. By integrating layered technologies with training and oversight, non-profits can mitigate risks, protect sensitive data, and maintain stakeholder trust.
