About the Article

This article explores conflict resolution strategies for faith-based organizations (FBOs) operating in diverse cultural contexts. It examines the roots of intercultural conflict—such as miscommunication, language barriers, historical injustices, and power imbalances—and highlights mediation, dialogue, restorative justice, and collaborative problem-solving as effective tools. Case studies from Sudan, Northern Ireland, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Colombia demonstrate how culturally grounded approaches foster trust, empathy, and reconciliation. By embedding these strategies into organizational practice, FBOs can strengthen their capacity to bridge divides, promote peace, and support resilient, inclusive communities.
