About the Article
Community engagement and mobilization are central to effective crisis response, strengthening both operational outcomes and community resilience. This article explores strategies for partnering with local leaders, mobilizing volunteers, fostering two-way communication, and ensuring inclusive outreach to vulnerable populations. Drawing on tools such as community mapping, social network analysis, and volunteer management practices, it demonstrates how local knowledge and participation enhance trust and cohesion. Case studies from Bangladesh, Nepal, Uganda, and Puerto Rico illustrate practical applications in health interventions, disaster response, and inclusive communication.
