About the Article
This article examines communication strategies for religious non-profits operating in low-resource contexts, where barriers such as low literacy, limited digital access, and cultural diversity complicate outreach. It argues that communication is not simply the transfer of information but a central tool for trust-building, mobilization, and social transformation. Drawing on theory, case studies, and practice, the discussion highlights how clarity, cultural sensitivity, participatory dialogue, and blended low-tech/digital approaches enable religious organizations to strengthen credibility and sustain impact.
