About the Article

This article analyzes global and local case studies of interfaith initiatives, demonstrating how dialogue, inclusivity, and collaboration can transform communities and foster peace. By examining examples such as the United Religions Initiative, Parliament of the World’s Religions, Religions for Peace, the Interfaith Mediation Centre, and community-based projects in the United States and the UK, the study identifies common factors of success, including grassroots empowerment, inclusive leadership, and sustained engagement. The analysis highlights how issue-focused initiatives such as the Abraham Path, Shared Sacred Sites Project, and Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign use heritage, shared spaces, and advocacy to counter prejudice and build trust. For scholars, these cases provide empirical evidence of interfaith dialogue as a driver of social change; for practitioners, they offer actionable strategies for designing adaptable, resilient, and impactful interfaith programs.
